Client & Initial Situation
A dairy in the food industry commissioned HPS-Group to modernize its boiler system (6 t/h, 13 bar, 4,100 kW firing capacity). The goal was to meet the legal requirements of the 44th BImSchV while increasing operational safety and efficiency.
Project Requirements
- Preparation of all approval documents and circuit diagrams
- Obtaining TÜV and State Directorate approvals
- Integration of modern control technology (Siemens S7 PLC)
- Renewal of burner, gas pressure control line, and oil supply
Process
- Planning & Approval
Preparation of technical documentation and coordination with authorities. - Manufacturing & Preparation
Construction of the control cabinet in the EWS workshop, software and control preparation. - On-site Conversion
Replacement of the Weishaupt burner, adaptation of the oil supply, and renewal of the gas pressure control line. - Commissioning & Acceptance
On-site implementation, acceptance by TÜV Süd, successful handover to the client.
